This is the night sky looking S at around 10 pm in early October. This will change slightly during the night and the season, due to Earth's rotations. Mars is definitely visible with the naked eye and appears quite bright. Some very nice deep sky objects are also visible with binoculars and small telescopes. This star map was made in Starry Night Pro.
