NASA/JPL - Solar System Exploration
Our moon is a wonderful object to see with or without a telescope. With the two 14" telescopes at the Chico Community Observatory, you can experience the moon up close: craters, "seas", mountainous area, and much much more.
The next lunar eclipse will be October 27, 2004, starting at sunset.
